| Comments | This is my level 3 rocket. Built primarily from Carbon Fiber and graphite plate, this rocket also sports an aluminum and fiberglass nosecone and Hawk Mountain coupler. Sim'd to go to ~14,000' at 1300 fps on a M-1315, this bad boy has gone to 4937' at 358 mph on a K445 (4g Pro54).
Level 3 will be attempted at XPRS 2004 at Black Rock Desert outside Gerlach, Nevada.

Flash was flown for a successful L3 cert at XPRS 2004. Please see the L3 Project page for more information.
Flash has since flown to over 1100 mph on research M-class motors. |
